Work experience placements for students
This page describes the work experience opportunities for year 10 school students offered at Eden. We also offer:
- general volunteering opportunities
- work experience for university students (for more information email: mpaterson@edenproject.com).
Please note that we are now taking applications for work experience placements in 2012.
The Eden Project offers exciting work experience placements in the following areas:
- education
- horticulture
- hospitality
- Land Train
- maintenance
- Pollinating (storytelling, acting, music, tour guide)
- retail
- stewarding.
Placements are available from May 2012 through to July 2012. If your work experience week does not fall within this period, please let us know and we will do all we can to help you.
Each opportunity is a week long and will give you a fantastic insight into life at Eden. You will spend time working with the team in your chosen area to find out more about how their jobs contribute to the aims and objectives of Eden. During the week your Supervisor will set you a mini project and send out on a site-wide fact-finding mission on which you will feedback at the end of the week.
