Opening times: Eden Project
The Eden Project is usually open every day of the year except for 24 and 25 December (so that our staff can spend Christmas at home).
Check our full opening times below, because sometimes we open later into the evening with a special programme of events, and on some days we have to close the Biomes (greenhouses) a bit earlier to keep the plants healthy (see below for dates and reduced entry prices). Every day, the last entry to the Rainforest and Mediterranean Biomes is half an hour before Eden closes.

Early closing
Early closing of the Mediterranean Biome on 1 November
On Tuesday 1 November, the Mediterranean Biome will close to visitors at 11am for a Taste of the West event. To make up for this early closure, visitors to Eden on the day will be offered:
- a free cup of tea or coffee (one per visitor)
- a free guided tour of the Rainforest Biome (tours will run throughout the day).
Early closing of the Rainforest Biome for plant care
The Rainforest Biome will close at 2pm (last admission 1.30pm) on the following days. Entry to Eden on these days will be half-price (adults: £11, seniors/students: £7.75, children: £4.25). You will not be able to use any other offer in conjunction with these reduced prices.

Early closing of Biomes for private events
On the following days we will be closing the Rainforest or Mediterranean Biomes for private events at 4pm (last entry at 3.30pm), unless otherwise noted.
- Saturday 26 November 2011(Rainforest Biome closes between 4.30pm and 5pm and then the Mediterranean Biome closes between 5pm and 6pm).
*Reduced ticket prices for late-night opening
If you arrive at Eden after 3pm for one of the nights we're open until 9pm from Friday 4 November until Saturday 11 February, you will pay reduced ticket prices:
- Adults: £11
- Concessions (60 and overs, and students*): £7.75
- Children aged 5–16: £5
- Children aged 0–4: free.
Please note that ice skating tickets are not included in the above admission prices.
