Is there much for children to do?
Eden is great for the kids. There are imaginative children's play areas, impromptu storytelling, workshops and our new trails featuring endless leafy places to play with shortcuts and hideaways, stepping stones and sandpits. We also have a great children's menu and a fantastic events programme throughout the school holidays.

How do I get to Eden?
You can get to Eden by walking, biking, train, bus or car. Walkers and cyclists enjoy a discount off the adult entry charge, and children under 15 accompanied by an adult come free. If coming by car Eden is well signposted from both the A30 from Exeter and the A391/390 from Plymouth. Visitors from outside the county can take the M5 southbound, to Exeter, where the motorway splits into to the A30. Take the A30 and continue until you reach the Innis Downs junction (A 391) from which Eden is signposted. There is ample parking at Eden and a park and ride service operates from the outer car parks.

What about access, will I be able to get around the site ok?
Eden is dedicated to making access as easy as possible for all our visitors. It’s a large site so a park-and-ride buggy service is in operation to transport people from their cars to the site and back again if required. Disabled car parks are close to the visitor centre but if assistance is required you can request a buggy service. The Land Train takes you up and down the pit, and park-and-ride buses are designed to accommodate wheelchairs. There is seating around the site so you can enjoy your visit at your own pace. If you have a carer to help you the great news is that they get in free. We welcome guide and assistance dogs.

Can I bring my dog?
Unfortunately we can’t encourage visitors to bring dogs to Eden, and, other than guide dogs, they're not allowed on the main site.
