Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall to visit Eden on July 12

Buckingham Palace announced today that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall are to visit the Eden Project on July 12, 2011, to mark the 10th anniversary year of the project.

On behalf of the Eden team, Tim Smit, chief executive, said today: "We're honoured and delighted that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will be visiting in this, our tenth anniversary year.

“Through the years their constant support and kind words have been deeply appreciated and we look forward to showing Their Royal Highnesses how much Eden has grown and developed in our first decade.

“The visit will also allow The Duke and Duchess to meet some of the Eden team and our special guests from the community. The team is very excited at the prospect of this special visit."
