- Latest news: booking is now open for our school ice skating sessions and 'Infants on ice' play sessions for winter 2011/12.
Here at the Eden Project in Cornwall, education is central to our mission as a charity. We offer exciting learning opportunities for students of all ages at schools, colleges and universities.
- With over 1 million plants, and iconic architecture and art, the Eden Project is the ideal destination for school trips as well as visits by college and university students.
- Over 50,000 pupils and students of all ages visit our 'living classroom' every year from across the UK and Europe.
- Our education officers bring their wealth of experience in schools and environmental centres to create memorable learning experiences.
- Our fun and fascinating environmental education workshops are linked to the National Curriculum and cost from only £3.80 per pupil.
- We inspire learning across a range of subjects, from geography, art and science (biodiversity, biology, botany, conservation, ecology, and horticulture) to architecture and sustainability.
- Many schools bring their pupils to tour Eden on teacher-led field trips, and combine them with our seasonal events, such as ice skating and den building.
- For teachers we offer In-Service Training (INSET) and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) courses in environmental education.
- We have received the Growing Schools Garden Award, an award for gardens that provide advice and training for schools.
- If you are a young person working on your Arts Award or an adviser who is planning activities for your group then Eden Project, an Arts Award Welcome organisation, has a range of opportunities to help you. Find out more.
